It's hard to say what's going to happen over here with the reds and the government clashing. The reds don't want to compromise, no one but them wants Taksin back, the yellows are now threatening to take matters into their own hands. I'm not sure if anyone know how this thing will play out.
On a lighter note I just got back from holiday round one up north in Fang, Chiang Mai, and Pai. Round 2 involves me relaxing at home in Bangkok. This will be promptly followed by surfing and island hopping down south.

This is VERY cool! I SO want to come visit :) Returned Tuesday night from a whirlwind 5 days in LA. We had a nice laid back 80th bd party for Grandpa Mark. He was touched and happy that we came to celebrate with him. Dick wasn't able to make it, but the rest of us were there. It was fun to see my siblings. Uncle Bill and Jonathan helped Uncle Bud put the decking on the back of their dining room - very nicely done and Marva is happy :) We all miss you, hope you are well love ya, Auntie G
