Now that I'm in the land of lightning fast internet I've started watching complete seasons of TV shows I never watched back home. Here's a brief list:
Arrested Development - Funniest Sitcom Ever.
The Wire - Finally a legit crime drama - Rated ARRRRR
Dexter - Creepy Serial Killer show, pretty good though - Rated R +
Battlestar Galactica - I can't believe how good this show is. PG-13?
Once I get a full season of one of these shows they make for a nice background distraction. There are some English channels on cable but I don't have cable and didn't want to pay for it. Also I've seen some of the movies they show on those channels, absolute crap. Google "Dead or Alive" the movie for an example.
I can't wait for "The Dark Night" to come out. I think we have to wait for early August. I have a nonsexual man crush on Cristian Bale.

Dexter - I KNOW - it's too creepy for me. I tried watching it but just couldn't wrap my head around the fact that he is a serial killer and we're supposed to see him as a 'regular' guy.... What's up with THAT?? Right now I'm into re-runs of House and Bones . Haven't seen Dark Knight yet. I enjoyed Heath Ledger's movies although this one is so twisted for him, and I haven't decided who my favorite Batman has been - as much as I like George Clooney, I wasn't thrilled with him as Batman. Going to Mama Mia tonight - it's a girl thing :) have a good one, love auntie g
I have a real crush on cristian bale! I will be seeing the movie this week in IMAX! let you know what I think! glad your keeping up with american tv.
Hey Tony - I saw on yahoo today that Christian Bale was arrested for assaulting his mom and sister? Don't know how valid the report was; hmmm. Batman would NOT do that :) g

She probably deserved it. CB can do no wrong!!! His close friend Heath just died, give him a break.
thanks for the cb update, I don't put much stock in those Yahoo reports anyway :) Meredith saw DK tonight and said it was really good. Mama Mia was cheesy, but entertaining.
