This is The Pusan Subway map:
The weather is getting pretty nice. I'm watching the sunset over the mountains outside of my window now. The 80's Metallica playing from my computer really adds to the experience. I'm adjusting pretty well. I'm getting used to:
Being stared at constantly.
Children yelling Hi at me no matter how far away they are.
Answering the following questions on at least a bi-weekly basis:
"Where are you from?"
"How old are you?"
"How tall are you?"
"What is your name?"
"Do you have a girlfriend?"
"Do you like Kimchi?"
Eating Kimchi with every meal.
Communicating through gestures.
etc. . . . . . .
Time to explore my city a little bit more. I need to find a close Jimjilbang.

Hi T - Have you checked out the 'Party Spot' marked on your Busan subway map? Interesting thing to highlight :) So, what does KimChee taste like anyway? The map of Seoul looks like a chemistry problem gone awry! Hey, Meredith is playing Metallica's 'Fade to Black' with a cello quartet for State Solo/Ensemble. It is VERY cool!! We thought we were headed into spring, but overnight about 2" of snow dropped. yuck, double yuck. Gr K leaves for Italy next week - lucky duck! Have a great week - love much Auntie G
I have been there. It's a good place to connect with other foreigners. I don't know enough Korean to converse with the locals but the Koreans that want to practice their English will often end up in Seomyang too. I think I initially made this map to show my buddies.
